When you think of your wedding day the schedule might run: Wake-up (if you slept), salon, photos, flowers, ceremony, cocktail hour, and fabulous reception flowing into the evening. What about you? So often a wedding day is fulfilled for others in an exciting race of events. I love the idea of Zen and an environmentally sound wedding. What I love even more is a couple that enjoys the special moments. While planning your wedding day, consider a yoga session, meditation or another form of a calming, quiet hour. It might sound extravagant or yet another thing to add to the list. However, a scheduled time to take a break before “I do” may be the best moments you spend before walking down the aisle. Relax your mind, connect to your body and open your heart.
P.S. There are many yoga instructors who create “wedding yoga” sessions. Check out www.yogaforweddings.com out of New York and Seattle or your local instructor for scheduling.
